I am truly in awe of the world we live in. How kind, compassionate, and giving others can be. Frequently, we see news stories which show us all of the things going wrong in the world, but it’s always nice to know that good people exist.

Recently, I’ve been going through a tough life transition, but knowing that I have an amazing support system of friends and family has helped. However, I didn’t know that I would gain a new support system in my coworkers, whom I previously thought of as strangers.

Compassion isn’t dead. It can be cool to care. And to all the people who do that for others, I just want to say thank you.

Thank you for allowing people to be themselves — be human, share struggles, and know that they can still thrive in this world. You are truly some of the best people, and though you may not be recognized for it…I see you. I needed you. So thank you.
